The same as the last Toolbox Talk this was given to all scaffolders outside and they were not required to sign the attendance sheet as precautionary measures.
This will probably be the last toolbox talk given this way and future ones may be sent via text messages and or emails.
The importance of hand washing was again reinforced, Apex are continuing with additional sanitising measures to all communal areas and vehicles.
Scaffolders were told to “Social Distance” wherever possible and follow NHS and Government guidelines.
We are also limiting the number of people in the Office at any one time
Any scaffolders who suspected that they (or members of their household) were suffering from Coronavirus or displayed symptoms such as a new persistent cough and high temperature/fever were told to self-isolate for 7 – 14 days in line with the latest NHS and Government advice.
Scaffolders were told to refer to the latest NHS and Government advice available online on the following links.
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
https://www.gov.uk/government/topical-events/coronavirus-covid-19-uk-government-response
The NHS and Government advice is being updated all the time and we at Apex Scaffolding will be following their recommendations.
As I said in my last communication Apex Scaffolding will continue to trade as normally as possible over the next few weeks, however, if we are affected by multiple employees off sick this will have a proportional knock on effect on our available labour to send to site.
All we can do is keep up to date with and follow the available information and advice.
Stay safe everyone.
