The job:
To provide scaffolding as part of the task of re-roofing a popular National Trust property. This included the relining and rebuilding of the chimneys and the renovation of glazed skylights and domes. Killerton is a grade II listed, 18th-century property located in Broadclyst near Exeter, Devon, and is popular with visitors drawn to the house and the spectacular gardens.
The challenge:
The popularity of Killerton meant that for safety, and to ensure the continued operation of the visitor attraction, segregation of visitors and staff and the scaffolding operations was required. A Haki Rolling roof was used to allow the complete removal and replacement of the roof.
